I’ve been at points in my life where I felt like my body was working against me. My health was not in a good state and I knew that I needed to get to the root of things. In fact, I became a little obsessed with finding answers (more on that later).
I’m here because I understand how frustrating it can be to feel like you’re at war with your body. To search for hours, months, or even years for answers only to come back feeling more confused on how to feel better.
I’m guessing you’re here because you’re still searching for answers. Maybe you can’t seem to figure out what you’re “supposed” to eat every day, let alone the time it takes to cook more healthy meals, or maybe you have encountered a specific health concern that is constantly weighing you down.
Chances are, we’re pretty similar.
You’ve seen people with the body that you dream of, so you know it's possible for you too (right?)
You have a friend who crushes weekly meal prep, works a full time job and raises kids. (how does she do it all??)
Your other friend radiates confidence and never seems to worry about what to eat. (why can’t it be this effortless for you?)
What was once a hardship actually turned into a blessing.
Along with this also came a skin condition called melasma.
I ignored the issues at first, assuming that my body would figure things out and they would go away. But they didn’t… In fact, they got worse and they lasted for years.
So I dug and dug and dug for answers. I saw a homeopathic doc, GI doc, functional medicine doc, had multiple not-so-fun tests done, changed my diet, eliminated foods that “could” be triggers, took different supplements, you name it! I came out of all of that, still, without a solution.
As my frustration grew, so did my stress levels. Or...was it vice versa? I realized that one element I had not looked into was stress. I reflected back on what was going on in my life when the health issues started. Copious amounts of “fight or flight” chronic stress. (insert lightbulb above head)
Then it hit me. Optimal health and well being is not just ONE thing. It’s not just exercise. It’s not just what you eat. It’s SOO much more.
It’s also your stress levels, your quality of sleep, your beliefs about yourself, the quality of your relationships, your emotional well being, your happiness, your environment.
If multiple parts of a functioning system are broken, you must work on them all, not just the one thing that you think it is. This is where having an outside professional perspective can be helpful. Sometimes, it’s hard for us to identify what is broken when we’ve been living in it for so long.
When I really started to focus on reducing my stress, on reducing the inflammation going on in my body, that’s when the healing began.
Being at optimal wellness is a constant journey. It’s not just a one time clean-up and then you’re done. Think about your car, for example... You must continue to get oil changes throughout the life of the car. Similar to your body, you must periodically check in and do a little clean-up. And the better you take care of yourself, the easier and more efficient these body “tune-ups” will be.
I’m here to tell you, friend, that anything that you envision for yourself and your health is 100% possible, even when it feels so far away from where you are now.
And if you don’t quite have that vision, well that’s one place we need to start...
Beginning at age 18, I built a strong foundation with exercise and movement. This motivation actually stemmed from a lack of confidence in my body, my strength and how I looked.
Being called “anorexic” or hearing comments like “you’re SO skinny” when you’re young and impressionable can have some major effects. Luckily for me, those comments propelled me forward to a better version of myself.
After spending several years learning the ins/outs of fitness, and getting a couple certifications in the field, I knew there was more to the story than just exercise. One of my favorite sayings is “you can't out-train a poor diet.” And so my deep dive into nutrition began.
Food is not only just fuel for the body, it’s also information. I learned that every single thing you put in your body can either help you or harm you.
Here comes the plot twist… Despite all this valuable information that I had learned about food, I began experiencing horrible digestive issues.

Over the years of coaching and research, I have deepened my desire and mission to take people back to our ancestral roots. To remind ourselves that we lived and thrived for thousands of years BEFORE grocery stores at every corner, restaurants galore, ubereats, worldwide shipping, and even things as simple as a refrigerator.
We live in super modern, technology filled times that focuses on convenience and instant gratification. Although technology has its perks, it’s also disconnected us from nature. Many of us prioritize having smart phones, nice cars and clothes over investing in good quality food.
Or we prioritize our jobs more than preparing fresh healthy home cooked meals.
Another byproduct of modernization and technology in the last 70 years is that we are exposed to more chemicals and pollutants than ever before. Many of these chemicals, we can avoid. The problem lies in not knowing about all the areas chemicals reside in our day to day life.
My philosophy is that in order to live with vitality, we must live as close to nature as possible.
You just need to build a strong foundation through understanding food, and gain clarity on what is going to work best for you. This means cutting through a lot of the noise on the internet today. This is why I’m here.
Whether you join my Meal Prep Club, my 28 day group challenges, or work with me 1 on 1, I will guide you to making well-informed and educated decisions on the things that will help you reach your optimal health.
It’s that simple, and all you need is the desire to reach your goals and persistence to not give up. I’m here for accountability when you are building consistency.
